As part of our topic this term which is called ‘The Place Where I Live’ we went for a science walk around our school grounds looking at nature and noticing signs of Autumn.

We have been learning about the seasons and the children we able to tell the class a lot about Autumn that they already knew. On our walk we looked for signs of leaves changing colour, seeds ready to fall and fruit ripe and ready to eat. Everyone picked an apple from our tree and had a taste! On Friday Mrs Billington our wonderful school cook is going to stew some of the apples and make an apple pie for the children to taste, yum!
