PE-OAA Week 2

In today’s lesson the team challenges were Millipede and Cross The Swamp. 

Both activities involved the children working together to come up with a plan for how to overcome the challenges of moving across an area with limited resources and strict rules. 

In the game of Millipede, the children stood in hoops and without leaving the hoops or letting the hoops come apart they had to move around the playground and collect cones to take back to a base. In Cross the Swamp, the children used the milk crates to get across the field without falling and to get to the other side in less than 5 minutes. 

Alex G was a fantastic leader in both the activities talking sensibly about how the challenges could be overcome. Lots of encouragement was given by Nathaniel and Liv to make sure the teams were concentrating or going as fast as possible.
