Our overall topic this half term is focusing on biomes and climates. In our art lessons, we have been looking at using mixed mediums to represent themes, so we decided to use two of our biomes to do this.
Children were inspired by the colours, shapes and textures of either the Tundra/Ice biome or the Coniferous Boreal biome. They created mood boards which combined drawing, collage, painting and pastels.
